Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Advanced Climate Control is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What We've Done
- Semantic HTML structure with proper landmarks, headings, and lists
- A "skip to main content" link on every page
- Full keyboard operability, including the mobile menu, FAQ accordions, the Comfort Troubleshooter, and the image gallery lightbox
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA ratios
- Form fields with programmatic labels and clear, announced error messages
- Support for the "reduced motion" system preference: animations are disabled for users who request it
- Responsive layout that supports zoom up to 200% and works on screens of all sizes
- Touch targets sized for easy use on mobile devices
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is a continuous process, not a checkbox. We review the site as content changes and welcome feedback that helps us improve.
